Description

Ugo Colombo, which is a widely famous residential and commercial real estate developer in Miami, Florida, has eventually released the information on what is planned to do with the Brickell Flatiron site, which was purchased by the company last year. Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group and Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin are planning to launch a joint project of an ultramodern luxury condominium tower. Vladislav Doronin is an internationally famous Russian billionaire developer, who has already gained a worldwide reputation of Russia’s Donald Trump. The negotiations are going to come to a conclusive end in the nearest future.

Flatiron Brickell is planned to be constructed at 1001 S. Miami Ave, to the north of the Metromover tracks and the Flatiron Park, on a triangular lot. The tower will also include 40,000 square feet of retail space, including restaurant, lounge and shop space. It will be located minutes away from the Design District, the Miami Performing Arts Center, the Wynwood District, American Airlines Arena showcasing intense games of one of the world’s most famous basketball clubs Miami Heat, as well as Shops at Midtown Mall with the total area of approximately 1,000,000 square feet. More than 130 art galleries, showrooms, architecture firms, unique stores, antiques dealers, eateries, bars, lounges – the life in Miami is endlessly diverse.

The design of this high-end condominium tower was masterfully developed by talented architect Luis Revuelta, with the help of Curbed Miami’s Sean McCaughan in the function of a design consultant. The building will have a curvy structure, rising 65 stories above Miami’s skyline. The design of Flatiron Brickell was inspired by the iconic Flatiron building, which is located at Fifth Avenue and Broadway in Manhattan, New York City.

This 750-foot tall mixed-use skyscraper will feature 549 luxurious residential units, which will be planned to meet the highest standards of comfort in terms of amenities, services, personnel’s professionalism and attitude. For instance, the tower will feature floor-to-ceiling glass exteriors throughout the residential units, which will have elliptical balconies on the front facade. Flatiron Brickell will feature a fully equipped gym, a rooftop swimming pool offering mind-blowing views of Miami, an ultramodern spa center, as well as an outdoor lap pool, located on the 18th floor. The average size of the unites will be 1,250 square feet. The floor plans of double-height penthouse units haven’t been made public yet.

The developer will ask for a 20% deposit from buyers upon signing of a contract, 10% upon the beginning of the construction, 10% when the construction reaches the 18th floor, and 10% at top-off. Hence, Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group is planning to rely on large deposits from buyers of residential units to fund the construction.

The construction of Flatiron Brickell is expected to break ground by the end of 2014. The sales of residential units at Flatiron Brickell have already been launched. Residence prices start at approximately $400,000. Get it while it’s hot!
